Abuse comes in many forms and these forms includes, sexual; physical; mental, emotional, power and others. Many types of abuse and all of it has one common factor, ego and pride. Take a pause right now and just step back, you and Serge might have abuse someone in their life. It might not seem like it but as a matter of fact it was abuse.
For Serge, he will admit he is a power abuser and had many times use his powers to prevent certain actions to happen. Whether this was for cruel or good intention is up to the audience to interpret. All that we can say was that, during that period of abuse; Serge felt his ego and his pride boosted with what he had done.
