Once again at Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil, The Star Rage organized the yearly CHEER competition where students from all around Malaysia competes in Malaysia’s premiere Cheerleading competition. Unlike last year, this CHEER was held for only one day instead of the usual 2 days; reason was because of BERSIH that happened the week before. Nevertheless, the event was good and we dare say it was better than last year.
How can a one day event be better than two days? Simple, the teams that participated only had one shot. Just one chance to win the coveted prize of being Nation CHEER Champions and by golly-wolly jilly-willykers; they performed the best that day could for their school, for their family, friends, for the judges and above all, they performed to theirs hearts content. This is Serge and to the teams that won and didn’t win, you did really good.

About a week ago Serge attended a small beer pouring event by Heineken. Here they brought Franck Evers who is their global ambassador and one fantastic beer pourer extraordinaire. Franck goes around the world and educates pubs, bars and any establishment on how to pour beer. This might seem a little bit weird but ever since he started doing this particular program, establishments who has taken his course has seen an increase in sales.
Beer pouring is an art that requires not only skill but other factors as well. During the event and one thing that he emphasize a lot was the human interaction between the bartender and the customer. No matter how good you are in pouring beer, if you give an asshole face to your customer; the chances of them buying another round is next to nothing. Human interaction is a key factor here.
