A court in Sweden has jailed four men behind The Pirate Bay (TPB), the world’s most high-profile file-sharing website.
Frederik Neij, Gottfrid Svartholm Warg, Carl Lundstrom and Peter Sunde were found guilty of breaking copyright law and were sentenced to a year in jail.
Holy Matronic Effing Hell, they found the four founders of torrenter’s favorite website Pirate Bay, guilty for copyright infringement and this is citing pressure from the entertainment industry in the United States. If it wasn’t for their pressure, critics have stated that the Swedish authority would not have placed such a verdict.
What does this mean to both you and Serge? It is had to say really, even though the founders has been jailed and a fine has to be paid, we do not know the decision of what will happen to the website.
