Don’t Duck It Finale Party

Don't Duck It Finale Party

For the past few months, Serge has been helping out the Don’t Duck It in their awareness campaign to promote and to educate women of all ages about Breast and Cervical Cancer. After months of somewhat promoting it was time for the finale event that was held at Jaya One.

As part of the many ambassadors but one of the only few active ones, Serge attended the party of sorts with his lovely couzy. Wanted to be there around 1400hrs+ but thanks to cousin he was there only after 1500hrs. Reason being, Serge became the driver who went to her place but she was still trying to get ready.

So while Serge waited, he played with his cousin’s cat. Yes her cat and no it’s not that cat but another cat; who is so silky smooth and nice that you want to kiss it all the time. Serge really loves her cat. So we arrived at Jaya One.

Upon his untimely arrival, they had started a Go-Kart race which was nice to watch. Do note that in this post, cousin and him separated a few times as he had to do many things. First person which Serge met was the lovely Rina Omar who is getting married soon (finally!) and was as lovely as the sun; hot and burning. Serge then later notice that his cousin went for a check up with the Assunta Hospital staffs.

Today, they had vaccination for HPV the cause of cervical cancer and gave free breast examination check-up. Good stuff with some of the stall that was set up, Serge then mosey toward the mascot of Don’t Duck It; the duck’s name is Chris Tock. Chatted with him and later Feeq appeared.

The afternoon session was slow, only thing that was good was the cheerleading session. Most of the time Serge was sitting down and widening his ass or busy snapping photos of the event goer. It was a good thing that his cousin understood that he could not be there for her all the time and it was a wonderful thing that she met a few people whom she spent some time with.

Evening came and Zouk’s resident magician who hand is faster than your blinking eye and is just mental; Zlwin made his appearance. Now Serge can say that the event which seemed really bad at first just took a nose dive into the pool of greatness. Thanks to his subtle suggestions and a very fantastic jig-saw puzzle trick; the mood for the night started off with page 436 of the yellow pages.

Later on, a fashion show by people of which Serge knows and actual cancer survivors with Assunta Hospital staffs. These was hosted by one lady emcee and of course the talented Will Kuih. Yes, Serge did indeed spell his name wrong as he is spelling it as how the emcee of the overall event pronounced it.

Besides the fashion show and performances; there was a malaysian-style flash mob. Serge calls it Malaysian-style cause when we do flash mobs, it is totally wrong in all aspects. Yet the participants did a good job and overall for this whole party; though there were ups and down, they did fairly well. So to the people who helped out, congratulations.

This is the video which Serge recorded pertaining to the flash mob that occurred.

officially when you do a flashmob, the participants are the people who should know and when they perform, the crowd will go see.

malaysian-styled; the crowd is already waiting for the flashmob and/or the flashmob event is announced by the emcee
