Yesterday was the official launch of An Honest Mistake‘s second album entitled “Say What You Want, Say What You Will” at Publika. Serge was there from around 1400hrs till about 2300hrs (though the actual event ended at 1900hrs). He after all said and done was as tired as a person who did the marathon twice with no stopping at all.
Besides being really tired, with the hot sun blazing out; we are certain that Serge is tanned though he has yet to look in the mirror today to see how dark he has become. Anyway, this is an account of what had happened yesterday and do note that this is going to take a while to load due to the amount of images and videos.
Serge arrived at the location right after rushing from his Sunday holy duties. There he met Leonard had a quick talk before both went their separate way to do what was needed. Serge was there to cover the event as a whole and Leonard to make sure that those who came enjoyed themselves.
As there was a fashion bazaar, Serge saw a lot of nice clothing and many shops that he knew of. Some of the shops were owned by acquaintances of Serge and he is proud to see how they are succeeding in this. Many of the store owners were smiling and were happy to be there, even though the weather was hot!
Soon enough, the live acoustic performance by many soon-to-be famous Youtubers began. As many of you know, Serge has a certain hatred towards Malaysia as a whole, though he does respect the many hidden talents that it produces. It is unfortunate that these diamond in the rough has yet to be discovered.
Somewhere in the evening, the real show began and it was time to launch the album.
An Honest Mistake went full swing playing tracks from their debut album and songs from their second album. Their legions of fan clap their hands to the chorus of the song. The band members head banged and we could see that An Honest Mistake was having a lot of fun on stage and the crowd was having the same amount of fun, maybe a little bit more.
The final song of the night was If I Told You This Was Real, Would You Believe Me. Later on they (An Honest Mistake) autographed their album for the fan and took pictures with them. At this stage, Serge was about to collapse though he did not as he met a Random Alphabet member who came late.
Before heading back home, Serge, Chris Tock, his friend and Amela chatted up and talked about many things. Subjects in question ranges from BERSIH to Social Media to Leadership and Openness.
Tiring as the day maybe, Serge definitely had a good time with everyone who was there.
