Originality Made Greater – This is OMG Live
It’s been nearly a week since we last posted up here at Dustyhawk :: Broken Mirror. Really sorry for the lack of updates as our writer has been spent with events the whole week and the only day he could have written a post was on Thursday. Yet he knew that the next few days he had more events to attend.
Tonight we are going talking about OMG Live. An event that was brought to you by Malaysian Youtubers such as Jinnyboy TV, The Ming Thing, Grim Film, Joseph Germani and Dan Khoo as a platform for up and coming Malaysian Youtubers to showcase their materials to the world.

Our writer Serge, that guy in the white hat… well as we all know he is a supporter to all things ART and this is another art form. Though he doesn’t love this country as how he should as a Malaysian; Serge loves the hidden gems that makes this country worth staying (for now). This ugly and beautiful country has talents, talent that needs a platform to shine and OMG Live can and will be a platform for Malaysian Youtubers.
From what we heard, some of the participants of OMG Live came at 1000hrs even though the event was to start at 1500hrs. Talk about dedication and love to these people. Serge arrived approximately 2 hours before the doors open to let in the eager crowd and he met a few old people and several new people. One of those which he got to know is related to a person he had slept with years ago.
Awkward moment for the person he shared a bed with was of the same gear. Amen.

Each of the main stars of the day played a video before they came on stage to talk about them self and their YouTube channel. Besides our famous Malaysian Youtubers, the audience were entertain by Skyward, Darren Ashley, Once Upon A Time There Was A sausage Name Bob and Shawn Lee. Not only did we have fantastic cinematographers helping out the upcoming batch, the audience were thrilled with music by our local talents.
During one of the session, Jinny gave his Abuden band to a boy sitting on a wheelchair. To Serge that was probably the best moment of the whole OMG Live event. Also there was a session where a young belle name Talitha sang and you could hear everyone keeping silent as her voice was mesmerizing.
Serge has now spotted another upcoming and potential talent for the next RAWR the Gig. Talents; Talents everywhere and it is imperative that we do something about it and therefore it is side quest of Serge to help these fine young fantastic people to polish and make them glow.

OMG Live did really well and the only gripe that Serge has was there wasn’t enough Q & A sessions for the audience to learn more. Nevertheless, congratulations to the team that made OMG Live a success. Right now there are a few things which they could do :
1. get a domain and hosting
2. make a collaborative video blog each week or everyday
3. get fans to submit their video
4. make how-to videos for people to learn
5. have fun!
