Paramore at Stadium Negara 2013

Even though it was just around 5pm, Paramore fans were waiting at Stadium Negara since 8am. Talk about the love of the band these fans have for this American rock group. Serge was there to cover Paramore’s return to Kuala Lumpur thanks to Tune Talk who provides very low rates for a pre-paid cellular company.

Anyway, Serge was there with Angelina who was his partner for the night and also since he had an extra pass, so why not? Famous faces were seen and familiar faces too. Jinny , Arnold, Denise, Ryan Matjeraie were some of the Hitz.FM crew who was rocking out.

And like any concert there will always be two bands playing. The main act and an opening act, usually the opening act will be a local band in which it was to be One Buck Shot. This time around it wasn’t and the band that open for Paramore was mewithoutyou. They hail from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and consist of 4 members; vocalist Aaron Weiss, guitarist Michael Weiss, bassist Greg Jehanian and drummer Rickie Mazzotta

We started late as usual and this is common in any concerts but when Paramore hit the stage, the crowd went insanely wild. Though for the life of him, Serge wonders why were they were not moving about and rocking their heads. Oh well, looking at their faces and their subtle movement; fans of Paramore was having a really good time.

Besides the above people which Serge met, he too met a few new friends and one who showed a picture of their fan. Suffice to say, that picture was a close resemblance to Serge sans the weight issue. In addition to this fine mockery, Serge’s new name to add into the list is Sherman now. To that group, if you’re reading this.. many thanks.
