Sipadan Water Village, Mabul Island – Day 1
Somewhere in February, 2012, Nuffnang celebrated their 5th anniversary and it is there where Serge won the grand prize of a 3D2N stay at Sipadan Water Village at Mabul Island. Because of some delays, his flight via Air Asia was a tad expensive but the trip was fan-fuckking-tastic!
Serge was at the airport around 5 something in the morning for his 7am flight to Tawau. Flight time was roughly 2 hours and 30 minutes. From Tawau, the staff of Sipadan Water Village (SWV) shuttled us to the Sempoerna jetty. This is where we took a speed boat to Mabul Island.

The boat ride was roughly 45 minutes and we emphasize on the word rough. The waves were nearly-unforgiving during the last part of the journey to SWV and was the most adrenaline-rushing experience for the 3D2N that Serge was there. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by the SWV staff who were friendlier than the clear waters that surrounds the village.
After having his meal and checking into his room, Serge went off to Kapalai Island for a snorkeling trip. Of all the recreational activities that Serge does, anything that has to do with water like snorkeling/swimming is something that he enjoys the most. Too bad that his camera was not waterproof. The marine life was psychedelically beautiful like the rainbow bridge to Narnia !

Got back from Kapalai, he then had dinner. Somewhere at night he joined the diving team/SWV staff for drinks. Very tasty and cheap-ass Tanduay Filipino Rum. Maybe, just maybe, he shouldn’t have had any as that cause Serge great grief the next day.

Y U NO TELL ME U COMING???
kinda last minute rush thing sayang.
Tanduay is reallycheap, but it is also very strong! I had tasted one before and it burned my throat
