Volkswagen Test Drive with Nuffnang
And this is probably one of many, if you know how to search.. of Serge not in his signatory hat. From the title post, one can ascertain that he was invited by Nuffnang Malaysia for a Volkswagen test drive. Whereby the cars that were available on the fine Saturday are; Polo 1.2 TSI, Golf 1.4 TSI, Passat CC 2.0 TSI, Jetta 1.4, Passat 1.8 and Polo GTI.
Sweet rides and being early has its perks even though his actual session was in the later half, Serge manage to test drive Passat 1.8, Passat CC and both Polo. All four cars were a joy to drive and for those who were there such as Jackie knew how Serge went overboard with the cars.

Overboard might not be the right choice of words here. Driving in a residential area at an average speed of 120 km/h and hitting the speed breakers at about 80 km/h… just to “test suspension”. *cough* There was an apology from Serge at the end of the session but pushing the cars to what he could during the run was well worth it.
To the people of Nuffnang and Volkswagen, sincerest of apologist but Serge must say of all the rides he tested; Passat 1.8 was the best car. Brake pad feedback and the feel of the steering at the speed Serge was going was as stable as the regular constipation Serge gets. Oh yeah, Jackie.. apologies on making you fly in the back seat of the car.

Although Serge loves small compact cars such as the Perodua Kelisa, the Polos he drove that day was rather mediocre. Nevertheless, they handled well. Still love the Passats.
If money wasn’t an issue, Serge would have gotten himself the Passat 1.8, now that car feels luxurious.
