Recently Heineken brought in Ferry Corsten when they launch their new Heineken bottle and as part of their music program; Heineken Thirst this year will be epic. For those who have experience Thirst; in 2010, Heineken brought in Godskitchen Boombox ; 2011, Tiësto accelerated the event.
So who is Heineken bringing in this year? It is not “is” but who are they bringing ? Swedish house supremo Avicii and French electronica pioneers Justice of course! Don’t blink and don’t drop that bottle of Heineken that you have in your hand right now.
What you see is correct, there will be two headliners this year and these two will be playing across two stages filled with passion and excitement. Two stages? Yes sir! Two stages of interstellar music offset by a 17-metre interactive LED installation.
This LED installation will feature a huge sculptural centrepiece in the form of Robert James Buchholz’s Wish, fresh from its appearance at this year’s Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas that consist of three LED lit flowers that pulses in time with the music.
Aren’t you Thirst-ty now? Don’t you want to know more? Of course you do! And Serge is going to fill you with knowledge on where to get tickets to Heineken Thirst 2012 and other details which you need to party on as the bass is dropped.
