It’s been nearly a week since we last posted up here at Dustyhawk :: Broken Mirror. Really sorry for the lack of updates as our writer has been spent with events the whole week and the only day he could have written a post was on Thursday. Yet he knew that the next few days he had more events to attend.
Tonight we are going talking about OMG Live. An event that was brought to you by Malaysian Youtubers such as Jinnyboy TV, The Ming Thing, Grim Film, Joseph Germani and Dan Khoo as a platform for up and coming Malaysian Youtubers to showcase their materials to the world.

Indicinelive IV is back and the crew has done it again by providing an SNL fanfare to the audience on opening night. Serge was there courtesy of KLPAC and TAS, this is his second Indicinelive. Instead of having this sketch that contains sketches within sketches at KLPAC, Indicinelive IV was held at The Actor’s Studio.
Thank the suicidal tendencies of Freddy! At least Serge can take a train and not worry about the traffic. It was a full house and everybody laughed. For the untrained, Indicinelive is like Saturday Night Live where they joke about everything and anything under the sun, specifically matters which us Malaysians are too scared to joke about just in case some ISA goon locks us up.
After the jump some brief description of the sketches perform and yes spoilers are included but we recommend that you go watch it!

From yesterday (Nov 16th,2011) till Nov 20th, 2011; The Actors Studio present a haunting play entitled The Drive. Haunting as it is about ghost stories and even though many of us may not believe in the existence of ghost; we tend to love to being frightened by stories about ghost and ghouls and of the supernatural elements.
Right after the jump, Serge talks about The Drive and be warn that it is half-full in spoilery; so be warned.

Just got back from this informative event and there are a lot of things that many of us here in Malaysia does not know. First up, we have refugees living in Malaysia and about 92% of the 95000 refugees that are registered under the UNHCR in this country here are from Myanmar. 95000 that are registered, think about how many more we have that ain’t.
Although our government here “recognizes” these refugees, we are probably one of the few countries in the world who has yet to signed the Refugee Memorandum. This memorandum is to indicate and to classify what and who is a refugee. It is without this memorandum that many refugees here in Malaysia are unable to get legal jobs and they are not able to get help from local authorities if they are mistreated by our own citizens and/or by their employers.

Love, deceit, tragedy and comedy came together in Much Ado About Nothing performed by the talented artiste of Theatre For Young People (T4YP). Talented indeed as yesterday at The Actor’s Studio @Lot 10, they perform the classic work of William Shakespeare.
