And so after much postings, Serge is finally writing about the other two fashion shows which he attended while MIFW occurred. They are of course the kebaya inspired showcase from YODA and the Mickey and Friends tribute. Both of this was held at Zebra Square a location that makes looking for a needle in a haystack a child’s game.
For the Kebaya inspired showcase, it happen on the first day of MIFW and one thing can be said is how elegant and versatile the Kebaya dress can be. A Kebaya is a traditional blouse-dress combination that has its roots from the court of the Javanese Majapahit Kingdom as a means to blend the existing female Kemban,to be more modest and acceptable to the newly adopted Islam religion.
