Better Blogging – Writing a good article all the time

Merdeka Train Party + RA+D

The following tip is brought to you by random compression of articles written by Bryan Clark , Shaolin Tiger and Serge’s own personal opinion.

Serge is not an expert blogger and he does not even say that he is one. What he says here is just a tip off of what can be done to improve your blog and for you to be respected in the bloggersphere. There are 7 things that you could do to have a good article all the time.

1. Focus on a specific topic. Do not run off from that topic and even if you do need to be off-topic, always find a way to relate back to the topic at hand.

2. Write, Write, write, write, Write, Write, write, write, Write, Write, write, write, Write, Write, write, write and keep on writing.

3. Read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, read, and read your article. Keep doing this and jump to number 3 now.

4. Edit, edit, edit, edit, edit, edit, edit, edit, edit, edit, edit, edit, edit, edit, edit and edit the article of yours which you have just wrote. Cut down on any gibberish or sentences that could be one sentence instead of four. Fluff can be found in our dailies, a blog is online and your readers wants straight to the point delivery.

5. Short, Short, Keep it short and Shorten paragraph of yours. 3 sentences and then make a new one. Why ? Check out the following paragraph and think about it.

Long Paragraph ::

Before you were born as Serge suspect many of his readers not born before 1957, we of this land was conquered by outside forces. But with hope and trust and faith, persevered and overcame all and when the time came; threw our crutches and stood up tall. On this day we shouted “Merdeka!” (roughly translated as freedom). Time moved, we enjoyed our freedom and freedom we kept. No man is an island and no country can ever be truly free. Let us be reminded that we are still free but like all freedom, there is a set law place upon us. For it is through a set law that we can truly see how free we are. A dove might be the symbol of peace and freedom as it flies in the sky.

Short Paragraph

6. Engage and Interact. You want to learn if your article is good? Engage your readers, offer them feeds and Interact with them by letting them comment on your article.

7. Be humble. Just because you might be an expert in quantum physics using the string theory with elements of Einstein’s relativity theory; does not make you an expert in everything. There will always be someone who knows more than you.
